In today’s business world, it’s essential to have a working knowledge of finance and budgeting. We all play a role in our organization’s financial health, whether we realize it or not. If you don’t have training or a background in finance, you may be at a disadvantage as you sit around the management table. Understanding the cycle of budget will help you figure out where you fit into your company’s financial structure, and how to keep your department out of the red. This one-day workshop will help you prepare budgets and make decisions with confidence.

Introduction to Marketing for Non-Marketing Professionals (8 Hours)
This training session will introduce participants to the fundamentals of marketing, focusing on practical, low-cost strategies that frontline employees can use to promote their organization effectively. Attendees will learn what marketing really means, how to gain visibility through free or inexpensive publicity, and how to create a simple yet effective marketing plan and campaign.
 
Manager Development:

Dealing with Difficult Employees (8 Hours)
This one-day workshop is designed for managers who regularly face challenging interpersonal dynamics and need effective strategies to lead through them with confidence. Participants will explore how their own behaviors and attitudes influence team interactions, learn proven techniques for managing difficult personalities and emotionally charged situations, and develop practical tools for navigating conflict, managing anger, and fostering a more productive and respectful work environment.
 
Taking Corrective Action (8 Hours)
This one-day workshop equips managers with the tools and techniques needed to lead collaborative problem-solving efforts that identify root causes and drive lasting improvements. Participants will learn how to apply the corrective action process, distinguish between correction, corrective and preventive actions, and integrate risk assessment and customer feedback into their approach through hands-on practice with valuable tools.
 
The Art of Delegating Effectively (8 Hours)
Delegating prepares employees who work for you to be able to handle your responsibilities and simultaneously allows you to advance to other career opportunities within your organization. It is also often one of the hardest skills for a manager to master. However, the skill can be learned. This one-day workshop will explore many of the facets of delegation, including when to delegate,to whom to delegate, the delegation process, and techniques to overcome problems.
 
Managing Effective Meetings (8 Hours)
Meetings come in all shapes and sizes, from the convention to a quick huddle in an office hallway. This one-day workshop will be concerned with small working meetings, the type of groups that have a job to do that requires energy, commitment, and the talents of those who participate, covering topics such as effective meetings basics, preparing for meetings, leading a meeting, how to control a meeting, and much more.

Introduction to Project Planning and Scheduling (8 Hours)
If you ever lead any kind of project, you will know how difficult it can be to accurately determine the duration of a project. Yet, that is exactly what is expected of project leads on a regular basis. This workshop will not disclose the secret of creating an accurate schedule, because there isn’t one. However, it will provide the factors and fundamental elements that you should consider and address when creating any type of schedule, including understanding “The Work Breakdown Structure”, estimating task durations, developing communication plans, and much more.

Introduction to Building High Performance Teams (8 Hours)
Success as a manager depends on more than individual performance and relies heavily on how well a team collaborates, communicates, and achieves results. This one day workshop provides participants with practical tools to strengthen team leadership, build trust, and improve overall team effectiveness. Attendees will explore different types of teams, “The TORI Team Building Model”, characteristics of great teams, and much more.
 
Introduction to Managing Virtual Teams (8 Hours)
There are benefits to today’s virtual workplace, but there can be challenges, too. This one-day workshop will help managers and supervisors to prepare employees for the virtual workplace, create telework programs, build virtual teams, leverage technology, and overcome cultural barriers.
 
Leading Teams Across Cultures (8 Hours)
Our culture defines many aspects of how we think, feel, and act. It can be challenging for managers to bridge cultural differences and bring employees together into a functioning team. This course will give supervisors and managers easy-to-use techniques for communicating across cultures, building teams, promoting multiculturalism in the organization, and leveraging a diverse talent pool.

This course builds upon the beginner and intermediate knowledge presented in the MS Excel® 2021: Part 1 and Part 2 courses to help you maximize your Excel® experience. The ability to collaborate with colleagues, automate complex or repetitive tasks, and use conditional logic to construct and apply elaborate formulas and functions will put the full power of Excel right at your fingertips.

MS SharePoint® Site Owner with Power Platform – (6 Hours)
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able create a SharePoint® team site and a communication site, and use advanced tools. Designed to help participants with planning and create a SharePoint-based multi-site intranet, associate multiple sites with a hub site to provide unified navigation, search, and theme, advanced SharePoint features to manage content creation in lists and libraries, and much more.
 
MS SharePoint® Advanced Site Owner – (6 Hours)
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able perform advanced site-building and administration tasks in SharePoint®. Designed to help participants create a custom site template to reduce the time spent creating similarly configured SharePoint sites, configure managed metadata, control access through permissions, and much more.
